Sailing with a solidarity twist
The meeting point for your boat tour is at Doca de Alcântara (Gate 1), where our skipper will meet you 15 minutes prior to departure. This is where you will board and disembark from our yacht.
A reference to find the marina is the Museum Oriente. The marina is behind it.
How far is the Meeting Point from citycenter?
Around 10/15 minutes by car from Cais do Sodré/Terreiro do Paço, or 20 minutes by public transports (see Find Us). Please consider the possibility of traffic.
Customers who arrive late for Shared Tours and miss boarding will not be eligible for a refund. For Private Charter Tours, HYPAFAMILY is not obliged to compensate for customers' late arrival, and the pre-determined end time of the tour will remain the same.
How does a Shared Tour differ from a Private Charter?
Both tours come with a skipper and crew. Our Shared Tours have fixed departure times and accommodate other guests on board, while Private Charter Tours are exclusively for your group. This allows for greater flexibility in terms of departure time and itinerary choices, so you can tailor the tour to your preferences.
What is the itinerary for a 2 hour tour?
As we sail along the Tagus river, you'll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the city and its most iconic landmarks. Our tour offers a glimpse into the heart and soul of Lisbon, showcasing its picturesque neighborhoods and historic monuments. Here's a preview of what you can expect to see:
Our journey will take you to see the city center: Praça do Comércio, also known as Terreiro do Paço, historic Lisbon Cathedral (Sé) and the charming Alfama neighborhood. You'll also be able to admire the stunning Saint George's Castle, which served as a fortress for many centuries, as well as the National Pantheon, where some of Portugal's major historic celebrities are buried.

Further along the tour, you'll see the MAAT - Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology and the Electricity Museum, a former power plant. Here, you'll have the opportunity to observe these fascinating museums and learn more about the history of energy production in Portugal.
And of course, no tour of Lisbon would be complete without admiring the exquisite Manueline architecture of Belém, as we sail past the UNESCO World Heritage site of Jerónimos Monastery and Tower of Belém, a fortified tower and iconic symbol of Lisbon. You will also pass by the Monument of the Discoveries, which celebrates Portugal's explorers and their discoveries during the Age of Discovery.
