Sailing with a solidarity twist
Welcome to the Sailing Academy, where we offer a comprehensive program for developing essential soft skills through the unique experience of learning to sail. Our program, EDUCAR À VELA, is specifically designed to support underprivileged young students from vulnerable environments, enabling them to succeed in the employment market and thrive in their community.
We work closely with social organizations to identify and reach these youths, many of whom may not otherwise have access to opportunities like this. In addition, we welcome students from schools who wish to enroll in our program EDUCAR À VELA as an extra-curricular activity. While these students pay a regular fee, the revenue generated helps us to support our solidarity cause with underprivileged students and continue to make our program accessible to all.
Join our experienced skippers and trainers for hands-on instruction and sail training suitable for all skill levels.
«I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.»

Our Sailing Academy program, EDUCAR À VELA, offers a unique opportunity to cultivate personal and professional growth in a stunning natural environment.
EDUCAR À VELA emphasizes essential soft skills like leadership, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and autonomy. During hands-on instruction, young students practice these skills through a variety of scenarios, such as communicating assertively with crew members, setting and achieving goals, alerting the leader to changes in their environment, solving problems. They also learn to coordinate and synchronize their actions when hoisting sails, recover lost items, and make decisions when the wind changes direction.
Our experienced trainers provide feedback, making young students aware of the skills they have developed and how to apply them in other contexts, beyond the sailing experience.
EDUCAR À VELA runs during the school year in 2.5-hour sessions once a week, for students aged 13 to 20 who are enrolled in junior or senior high school.
